Veronyca sets out to establish psychologically safe bubbles wherever she goes, to enhance security for processing, growth and transition management. Her collaborative and creative approach uses culturally responsive principles and practices to develop anti-discriminatory frameworks with the use of relational value systems like familismo, and personalismo. She believes in the power of the therapeutic alliance to empower individuals and their community through compassion; She hopes to encourage and collaborate in building spaces of joy and wellness for those around her. Her person-in-enviornment centered approach encompasses topics such as harm reduction, co-occuring experiences including selective mutism, the human-animal bond, latine/immigration trauma cycles and crisis response to experiences including suicidal ideation/self-injurious behaviors.
